LAN Settings
Use the Gateway Dashboard to change the VIA Connect² IP address.
By default, the IP address of your unit is automatically assigned by a DHCP server.
The following explains how to set a static IP address.
Be careful when changing IP settings. Incorrect values can cause a loss of communication.
To change the IP address of your VIA Connect² unit:
1. Go to the Gateway Dashboard, click on Settings.
2. Enter id and password (su and supass).
2. In the LAN Settings tab, under Connection Type, select Static.
3. Under Network Information, you can rename the Gateway IP Address, Subnet Mask,
Default gateway, DNS Server. You can also change the host name, if required.
4. Click Apply; The IP address of your VIA Connect² unit is changed.
