Adjusting Microphone Settings
VP-440X enables you to define settings for a microphone connected to the MIC jack such
as talkover/mixer mode, Depth and Trigger, via the audio webpage.
To adjust microphone settings:
1. Click Audio on the Navigation List.
The Audio page appears (see Figure 24).
2. In the Mic Settings area, open the drop-down box and select one of the following mic
modes:
▪ Mixer – microphone audio plays together with the main output audio.
▪ Talkover – decreases the main output audio volume when the microphone is active.
When Talkover mode is selected, use the slider controls or enter a number in the
fields to adjust the microphone settings (see Figure 4).
▪ Mic only – microphone audio overrides the main output audio.
▪ Off – microphone is disabled (default).
Microphone settings are adjusted.
Defining Additional Audio Settings
Set DRC, loudness and DSP (see Setting Audio Parameters on page 13 for further details).
To define additional settings:
1. Click Audio on the Navigation List.
The Audio page appears (see Figure 24).
2. in the Settings area, open the specific drop-down box to define the following:
▪ DRC On or Off.
▪ Loudness On or Off.
▪ Embedded In -> Out to DSP or ByPass.
Audio settings are defined.
Setting Equalizer
To adjust equalizer
1. Click Audio on the Navigation List.
The Audio page appears (see Figure 24).
2. In the Equalizer area, use the slider to select equalizer frequencies.
EQ is adjusted.
