Malfunction Possible cause Remedy
Rotor does not work
smoothly.
Working height is set too
high.
To reduce the working
height:
Working speed is too high.
Reduce driving speed. Guide
value 8 – 10 km/h. Slow
down in case of uneven
terrain and/or high amount of
forage.
Speed is too low.
Increase the speed. Guide
value 450 rpm
Side rotor inclination adjusted
incorrectly.
Change the side inclination
(refer to chapter Settings
“Setting the Rotor Chassis”).
Tine arm(s) crooked. Replace the tine arms(s).
High forage contamination. Working height is set too low. Increase the working height
Tine arm(s) bent. Replace the tine arms(s).
Swath width too large
The rear swath cloth is not
correctly set.
Change rear swath cloth.
Speed is too low Increase speed.
In headland position, one
rotor goes down and the
other one goes up.
Rotors are not swivelled up
into headland position.
Actuate hydraulics until the
outrigger arm rest against the
stops.
It is not possible for the rotor
to adapt to unevenness of
the ground.
The lower links of the tractor
are set too high or too low.
Align frame horizontally
(height of the lower link
pinion approx. 67 cm).
The tractor hydraulics is not
in the float position.
Set tractor hydraulics to float
position.
Electrical adjustment of rotor
height does not work
Fuse defective.
Replace the fuse in the
switch box which is mounted
on the frame.
The transfer from front rotor
to rear rotor is not smooth for
