Before road travel, make certain that

• the machine is fully and correctly hitched.

• the PTO shaft is switched off and the rotors have come to a standstill.

• the rotors are locked (right and left sides of the machine).

• the control unit is switched off, in case of electrically adjustable rotor height.

• the machine is in the transport position.

• the front swath cloth is swivelled up, in case of swath cloth front design (refer to chapter

Operation “Swivelling up Front Swath Cloth”)

• all hydraulic control units are located in neutral position.

• the retaining bolts are correctly engaged in the lockings (1) (right and left rotor).

• the tine guards (2) are on the tines which are located below 2 m in transport position (right

and left rotor).

• the lighting system functions properly.

• the lower links are set to a height of 55 cm to the ground to observe the transport height.

• the rotors are completely retracted in the transport position so that the transport height can

be met.

Note

With folding tine arms design

The transport height may be reduced additionally if the folding tine arms and the hoop guards

are put into transport position on both machine sides.
