Danger! – Lowering the machine into working position

Danger to life, injuries or damage to the machine.

• Lower the machine only when you are absolutely sure that neither persons, animals nor

objects are in the swivel range of the machine.

• Switch the PTO on only when the machine is in working position, the collapsible tine arms

are swivelled into the working position and the hoop guards are turned downwards.

• Turn on the tractor.

• To release the lockings (1), actuate the single-acting control unit on the tractor and apply

pressure to the hydraulic cylinders.

• To release the locking (1), pull on the actuating rope (2) and hold it under tension.

• Actuate the single-acting control unit to lower the rotors until the wheels of the rotor running

gear are on the ground.

• Release the actuating rope (2).

• Turn off the tractor and secure it against the possibility of rolling back.

Note

Please take note that the swath cloth swivels automatically into working position when lowering

the rotors and that it requires an increased swivel range.
