• Switch off engine and remove the ignition key.
• Position the sliding pin (1) of the universal joint yoke and the groove (2) of the drive shaft so
that the sliding pin can engage in the groove.
• Press in the sliding pin and push universal shaft (3) onto the drive shaft of the machine until
the sliding pin engages in the groove.

WARNING! – Danger due to universal shaft that is not secured!
Injuries or damage to machine and tractor as parts of universal shaft may flung out
uncontrollably.
• Make certain the sliding pin (1) of universal joint yoke engages in the groove (2) of the

• Swivel universal shaft support (4) down.
• Push universal shaft onto the PTO shaft of the tractor and allow it to lock in place.
• Secure the universal shaft guards against turning by using support chain (5).
