9.19 Removing the heim joint
Condition
The shock absorber has been demounted.

– Clamp the shock absorber in a vise using soft jaws.
– Remove the collar bushing of the heim joint.
Pin (T120) ( p. 276)
– Turn the shock absorber around and remove the second heim joint collar bushing.

– Remove seal ring

on both sides.

– Press the heim joint against a lock ring using the special tool.

– Remove the second lock ring
