– Check the intake flange for damage and firm seating.
Finishing work

Install the air filter. x ( p. 54)
– Install the air filter box lid. ( p. 53)

– Seal the air filter box in the marked area A.

Warning
Danger of burns The exhaust system gets very hot when the vehicle is driven.
– Allow the exhaust system to cool down. Do not touch hot components.

– Disconnect spring 1.
– Remove screws 2 and take off main silencer.

– Mount the main silencer. Mount and tighten screws 1.
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
– Reconnect spring 2.

Over time, the fibers of the glass fiber yarn escape and the damper "burns" out.
Not only is the noise level higher, the performance characteristic changes.
