11.9 Installing the fork protector

Position the left fork protector. Mount and tighten screws

– Position brake line, wiring harness, and clamp. Mount and
tighten screws

11.10 Bleeding the fork legs
Preparatory work
– Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 46)

Release bleeder screws

Any excess pressure escapes from the interior of the fork.
– Tighten the bleeder screws.
Info
Carry out this operation on both fork legs.
Finishing work
– Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 46)

Preparatory work
– Open the fuel tank filler cap. ( p. 19)

Pull on loop

and raise the rear of the seat.
– Pull the seat back and lift it off.
