Take the motorcycle off the front lifting gear. ( p. 47)
Operate the front brake and compress the fork a few times
firmly.
The fork legs straighten.
Tighten screws

Screw, fork stub M8 15 Nm (11.1 lbf ft)
Finishing work
Remove the rear of the motorcycle from the wheel stand.

Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with the rear lifting gear. ( p. 46)

Main work
Take the brake line out of the guide.

Manually press the brake caliper toward the brake disc to push
back the brake piston.
Remove screw

and pull wheel speed sensor

out of the
hole.
Remove nut

. Take off chain adjuster

Pull out wheel spindle

to the point where the chain
adjuster is no longer in contact with the adjusting screw.

Push the rear wheel forward as far as possible and take the
chain off the rear sprocket.
Info
Cover the components to protect them against damage.
Hold the rear wheel and remove the wheel spindle.
Warning
Danger of accidentsDamaged brake discs reduce the
braking effect.
Always lay the wheel down in such a way that the
brake disc is not damaged.
Take the rear wheel out of the link fork.
