2.2.2 Description of the UWB sensor
The sensor detects movement in a cone area in a vertical position.
The dimensions of the cone can vary depending on the nature of the debris.
Up to 30m (90ft) in an unobstructed space for wide movements
Variable depending on type of terrain: approximately 1050m3
(28280ft³) based on 10m (30ft) search in soil
≈6.1kg (without battery) and ≈6.7kg (with battery)
Up to 5 hours with an Endura CUE D75 battery
➢ Communication between the control box and the sensor:
• Wired watertight USB connection (5m (15ft) cable) which ensures excellent operation if there is
significant interference which does not allow the use of WiFi.
• WiFi connection with control box when conditions allow. 20-30m (60-90ft) scope in the field and
around 50m in free field conditions.
