5-2 Operating Instructions
1. In T4C go to Data Entry> Settings > tab Milking > sub-tab General Milking.
1. Set the Sampling Method.
2. If necessary, set the Optimal Sampling Period.
2. Go to sub-tab Post milking.
1. Set Sampling (Yes/No) to Yes.
5.3.2 Settings for Sampling with the Astronaut Milking Robot
5.3.2.1 Astronaut A3/A4 E-Link Settings
1. On the E-Link select:
1. Tab Settings > Settings > Milk procedure > Milk sampling.
The number of sample bottles that can be installed in the Shuttle is model and country-
dependant.
2. Select at Rack type (max. nr. of bottles):
1. Button Edit.
2. Select the applicable number of sample bottles.
3. Button OK.
3. Set at Rack number the rack number of the installed rack.
1. Button Edit.
2. Set the value with the keypad or use the button
to lower or to raise the value.
3. Button OK.
4. Set at Current bottle number in rack the current sample bottle number in the rack.
1. Button Edit.
2. Set the value with the keypad or use the button
to lower or to raise the value.
For continuing milk sampling after an alarm, set the current sample bottle.
3. Button OK.
5. Set at Last bottle number in rack the last sample bottle number in the rack.
1. Button Edit.
2. Set the value with the keypad or use the button
to lower or to raise the value.
3. Button OK.
