Slightly slide the backplane bracket backward.
Pivot the rear end of the backplane bracket assembly away from the expansion tray to
remove it.
Step 4. Remove the drives.

Pinch and hold on the retainer clip.
Remove the retainer clip.
Pivot the rear side of the M.2 drives away from the backplane.
Remove the M.2 drives.
After this task is completed
If you are instructed to return the component or optional device, follow all packaging instructions, and use
any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
If you plan to recycle the component:
1. Remove the M.2 backplane from the bracket.
