2-1. Boarding and Exiting the tractor
(1) Boarding the tractor
z Whenever possible, use the left-hand side step
for entering.
z When boarding the tractor, use the steering
wheel and grab handle on the left/right fender.
z Do not jump up/down for your safety.
▶ Operator’s condition : The persons such as patients, drunks, people on drugs,
etc. are never allowed to operate this tractor.
Only well educated operators can use the tractor after learning the usage of
controls for moving, stopping, turning and other operating.
▶ Do not grasp the gear levers when entering the cabin from the right-hand side.

(2) Driver’s seat switch
z At the lower end of the seat, there is a switch to
detect that operator is sitting in seat.
z If the operator gets up from the seat while engine
is running, the engine will stop automatically for
safety in case of ;
- getting up from the seat for more than 2 seconds
when HST pedals (HST type) are NOT in neutral
position.
- the HST pedals are in NEUTRAL and rear PTO
is engaged without applying the parking brake.
- the PTO select lever is on “MID” or “REAR/MID”
position.
z Before leaving the driver’s seat, turn the PTO
switch “OFF” and place the PTO select lever on
“REAR” position, and apply the parking brake.

▶DO NOT arbitrarily remove the seat switch. If it is necessary to replace the seat the
seat switch has to be replaced together. If not, the engine does not start.
