Cabling, Wiring, and Assembly
PGTC Interconnections
Refer to the APPLICATIONS section for the overall PGTC/
SLC
interconnection
arrangement.
Adjacent bay connections
The ED7C723-36 Group 5 cable assembly was connected to the ATU shelf's
P109 connector in a previous paragraph (1A Alarm Test Unit Cables) of this
section. This cable assembly's J115 connector will mate with the adjacent
SLC
-
2000 bay's P115 connector of that adjacent bay's Group 5 cable assembly. Refer
to the PARTS DESCRIPTION chapter of this manual for the Group 5 cable
assembly details.
Non-adjacent bay connection
When the two bays to be interconnected are not adjacent, then use the ED3C861-
20 Group 24 cable assembly which must be field formed, depending upon the
length required, with 254A cable and with a J115 and a P115 connector at each
end (refer to Figure 3-49).
Direct PGTC connections
Refer to Figure 3-49 and J109/J115 when initially connecting directly to the PGTC
or to an available cross connection point to the PGTC utilizing the ED3C861-20
Group 19-23 or 29 cable assembly.
