This chapter describes the requirements and construction of connec-
tors, cables, and assemblies.

This chapter includes interconnect figures for troubleshooting and com-
prehensive overview relating to system interconnections. The applica-
tion schematic drawing is also included.
■ Supplementary Information
This chapter (AT&T Practice 065-215-250) includes detailed framework
information and floor layout and drilling procedures which may be used
as a reference to supplement local practices.

Admonishments
This manual may contain admonishments in the form of DANGERS, WARNINGS,
and CAUTIONS. These admonishments, listed in order of priority, have the
following definitions:
■ Danger indicates the presence of a hazard that will cause death or
severe personal injury if the hazard is not avoided.
■ Warning indicates the presence of a hazard that can cause death or
severe personal injury if the hazard is not avoided.
■ Caution indicates the presence of a hazard that will or can cause
minor personal injury or property damage if the hazard is not avoided.
Caution is also used for property-damage-only accidents. This includes
equipment damage, loss of software, or service interruption.
