NOTE: When using serial output cable 2239036 or 2239038
Protocol for com setting is 8-N-1 9600 Baud.
The character strings will be in one of the following formats:
1start bit
2 stop bits
7 bits ASCII character
2400 baud
No parity bits

I = indication of inch measurements
M = indication of mm measurements
s = indication of measurement polarity
d = indication of dynamic display mode. Can assume one of the following:
When HOLD function is ACTIVE
A = indication of actual mode
M = indication of maximum mode
L = indication of minimum mode
T = indication of TIR mode
When HOLD function is INACTIVE
a = indication of actual mode
m = indication of maximum mode
l = indication of minimum mode
t = indication of TIR mode
<SP> = if the standard product mode is active
t = indication of possible over or under limit condition
(active in standard mode only). Can assume one of the following:
0 = exceeds upper tolerance limit U = exceeds lower tolerance limit
<SP> = if the enhanced product mode is active.
