Removing pistons from conrod and fitting,
checking − replacing conrod

Clean conrod. Inspect for external damage, re-
place damaged conrods if necessary.
Check parallel location of conrod and twisting of
piston pin eye to bearing bush bore hole. In the
case of deviations beyond the tolerance range,
replace conrod.

Place piston on the conrod.
Caution:
The recess for the oil injection nozzle in
the piston shaft (arrow) must lie on the
side of the long conrod foot.
Insert piston pin. Engage fastenings.
