Changing fuel filter cartridge
Only when the engine is swiched off.
Close shut-off valves between engine, pre-filter
and tank.

D Loosen filter cartridge by means of tape
wrench, unscrew it by hand and take it off
D Moisten the seals on the new filter cartridge
with fuel
D Screw on the filter cartridges and tighten them
vigorously by hand
D Bleeding the fuel system
D Check filter for leaks
Caution:
Used fuel filters are classed as danger-
ous waste and must be disposed of ac-
cordingly.
Bleeding the fuel system
To bleed the fuel system follow the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer.
