B7 – FUEL FILTER
REPLACE
- Open the chassis left cover.
- Carefully clean the exterior of the filter and its holder to prevent dust from entering
the system.
- Close the fuel tap 1 to the OFF position.
- Unscrew the retaining ring 2, remove the container 3 and clean the interior with a
paintbrush impregnated with clean diesel.
- Remove the filter cartridge 4 and plunge it in diesel to rinse it.
- Reinstall the assembly with a new filter (see 3 – MAINTENANCE: FILTER ELEMENTS
AND BELTS section).
- Open the fuel tap 1 to the ON position.
