Procedure for Manually Releasing the
Parking Brake
NOTE: Refer to (Figure 8-28) and (Figure 8-30) during
parking brake adjustment procedure.
1. Block wheels to prevent crane from moving.
2. Remove the screw-in plug (1).
3. Loosen coupling nut (3).
4. Back out socket setscrew (2) until brake is released.
5. While holding the socket setscrew (2), tighten the
coupling nut (3).
6. Reinstall the screw-in plug (1).
