1. Set the LEFT rotary range knob to the
I
RCD test range.
2. Connect the instrument as in 8.3. See 8.3 on page 39
3. Press the
mode button to select 0º.
4. Press the TEST button.
The Display should show one of the following:
X
Touch voltage limit
Measured touch voltage
RCD Trip time (no trip)
RCD Type
RCD Test mode
*any value below 300 ms indicates an RCD has tripped in an adequate time.
5. Press the
mode button to select 180º
6. Repeat the above test.
Record the higher of the two values.
>300 ms = RCD FAILED (no trip)
<300 ms = RCD Passed
