9.3 Accident protection on the corners
The accident protection system on the corners is located on the underside of the belt.
If the accident protection system is removed from the corners, this creates the danger that
someone reaching into the body of the round-belt conveyor from below could have their
hands caught and pulled inside, causing injury.
The diagram shows the position and assembly of the accident protection system.
Ensure that .....
 The accident protection system is in-
stalled on the correct corner, facing in the
direction of round-belt transport, i.e. on the
corner where the round belt first touches
the pulley.
 The space between the round belt and the
accident protection system is no wider
than 4 mm.
In order to avoid accident and injury, ensure that the accident protection system is not
removed.
9.4 Cover panels on the vertical conveyor
The perforated cover panels on the vertical conveyor are also
a form of accident protection system.

protection system is not removed.
