10.2.4 Exit tunnel
The inspection flap on the exit tunnel of the vertical conveyor is secured with a safety switch
and two locks. During maintenance works and errors, the inspection flap can be opened
with a key.
The inspection flap may only be opened by a trained person.
10.3 Check that all safety equipment is working
In order to avoid damage to the installation, injury or death:
 Prior to initial commissioning
 Prior to re-commissioning after a lengthy period out of operation
 Daily – before starting work –
sequentially check that all safety equipment is working properly.
