11.5 Shutting down
Press black push button marked "OFF" on the
control panel.
The round-belt conveyor has stopped.
Switch off the main switch on the side of the
electrical switch cabinet.
The round-belt conveyor is now out of service.
If the installation has a fire barrier or emergency electricity supply, also turn the main
switch on the fire barrier controls to "OFF".
12 Cleaning
For the conveying system to have a long service life, it is important that the area around
the tray infeed station and the pot wash area, in particular the tray clearing station, are
cleaned thoroughly every day.
Ensure that the EMERGENCY STOP or main switch in the switch cabinet has been acti-
vated when carrying out cleaning, inspection or maintenance works (apart from cleaning of
the vertical conveyor).
The safety cladding which must be removed for this work, must also be returned to its
original position upon completion.
Please also read the chapter on "conveying systems with suspended and clad tracks"
12.1 Tableware traps on conveyor table
Items of tableware, food waste, serviettes etc. may fall
from the trays during transport. These are collected in
troughs along the conveyor table.
The tableware traps are monitored using a light key.
If they become too full, the installation will be turned
off.
Ensure that these traps are emptied daily.
