10.5.2 Sequence of a shut down and turning back on
The installation detects an irregularity and turns off.
The first indication of a shut down of the conveying system is the flashing light
described above.
The touch panel displays the location of and reason for the shut down.
A person trained and authorised to work on the installation uses the door key to
reach the displayed location of the shut down.
This person uses the key to open the inspection door and the inspection flap. The
installation remains still.
The cause for the shut down, e.g. a serviette, must be removed. The trained per-
son now has to decide whether he/she is able to remove the cause of the shut
down personally.
1. Solve the problem causing the shut down and press the "acknowledge" key on
the nearest control panel.
The conveying system will turn back on automatically.
2. If the person cannot rectify the problem personally, the supervisor or technical ser-
vice must be called immediately.
3. Trolleys must be prepared to transport trays, etc.
4. Lock the doors.
An EMERGENCY STOP key is located with the installation's switches for the purposes of
inspection and testing.
Pay attention to the following chapters in these operating instructions:
The hazard warnings in chapter 6
The instructions on how to restart after a shut down in chapter 8
Cleaning in chapter 10.
