instrumentpackmessagecentretoindicatethatthe
keyisstillinthecar.

PthevehiclemustbeinanON/READYstateandthe
footbrakeapplied.
Ifyourcarissubjecttostrongradiosignalsthekeyless
entryandstartsystemsmaysufferfrominterferenceand
notfunctioncorrectly.Pleaseseethe‘AlternativeStarting’
procedure.

SettingthepowersystemintoREADYmode:
1Ensureallunnecessaryelectricalloadsareswitchedoff.
2Ensuretheparkingbrakeisapplied.
3EnsurePorNisselected(Iftheshiftcontrolknob
isinanyotherpositionthepowersystemcannotbe
switchedtotheON/READ Ystate)
4Pressbrakepedal.
5PresstheSTARTSTOPbutton(donotholdthebutton
in,releaseimmediately)
6ThegreenindicatorwillilluminateandREAD Ywillbe
displayedintheinstrumentpackmessagecentre.
