AdaptiveCruiseT argetFollowingDistance
Adjustment
Whentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,
rotatetheswitchontheendoftheleverupward(8)or
downward(9)toadjustthefollowingdistance,youare
abletotogglebetween3distancesettings,thecurrent
followingdistancesettingwillbestoredbythesystem
untilitischanged,anddisplayedinthemessagecentrein
theinstrumentpack.
Alwaysselectanappropriatefollowingdistancethatis
relativetothecurrentspeedofyourvehicleandthe
vehicleyouarefollowing,thegreaterthespeed,the
furtherthedistance.ALWA YSconsidercurrenttrafc,
roadandweatherconditionswhenmakingyourselection.
AdaptiveCruisePause
Whentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,move
theleverswitchtothe'Cancel'position(3),andthesystem
willexittotheStandbystate.
AutomaticDeactivationofAdaptiveCruise
Inthefollowingsituations,theACCmaybeautomatically
deactivated,thistransfersfullcontrolofthevehicletothe
driver.
•Movetheleverswitchto'Off'position(7).
•Pressthebrakepedalwhilstthevehicleisinmotion.
•MovetheshiftknobawayfromtheDposition.
•Thedriverunfastenshis/herseatbelt.
•Pressandholdtheacceleratorpedalbeyondapreset
timeperiod.
•Openanydoor ,bonnetortailgate.
•PulltheEPBswitchuptoapplytheparkingbrake.
•Followthevehicleaheadtoastopandthestoptime
exceeds3mins.
