Preparing the power supply
z
To ensure a steady and uninterrupted power supply for the device during
operation, we recommend the use of a separate UPS. For details about the
UPS installation protocol, consult the UPS supplier.
z
We recommend that the required power supply of the UPS be no less than
3 kVA (including the power supply of the server). Connect the power cord
of the device to the output port of the UPS.
z
Ensure that the voltage meets the requirement to prevent poor
performance of electric components. Failure to do so might damage
electrical components.
z
If a UPS is connected to the device, connect the UPS to the mains supply.
Otherwise, connect the device to the mains supply directly.
The following list describes the power specifications:
z
Voltage and frequency range: 100 V to 240 V
~
, 50/60 Hz
z
Voltage fluctuation:
±
10%
z
Rated power: 1200 VA
z
Grounding resistance: less than 4 Ω
z
Transient over-voltage category: II
Preparing peripheral devices
Prepare the following peripheral items:
z
MGIDL-200H Portable DNB Loader: we recommend that you use
the portable DNB loader of the manufacturer. For details, refer to
relevant guide.
z
Library preparation system: we recommend that you use the
library preparation system of the manufacturer.
z
Ultra-pure water machine: general laboratory supplier.
z
Frost-free freezers or refrigerators: three temperature ranges: 2 ℃
to 8 ℃ (35.6 ℉ to 46.4 ℉ ), below -18 ℃ (-0.4 ℉ ), and below -70
℃ (-94 ℉ ).
Preparing DNBs
We recommend that you use the library preparation system or
library preparation reagent kit of the manufacturer to prepare DNBs.
For details, refer to relevant user manuals.
