7. After wash, remove the washing flow cell, tube, and cleaning
cartridge.
8. Tap Back to return to the main interface.
9. Store the washing flow cell at room temperature.
The washing flow cell can be reused for only one month. Dispose
of the flow cell according to local regulations and safety standards
of your laboratory.
10. Empty the remaining solution in the tube and cleaning cartridge
into an appropriate waste container. Clean the cartridge with
laboratory-grade water, and let it air-dry.
11. Dispose of the tube according to local regulations and safety
standards of your laboratory.
Performing a maintenance wash
The maintenance wash frequencies of the PE and SE sequencing are:

SE sequencing: every week
z
PE sequencing: after each sequencing run
Perform the following steps:
1. Before sequencing, log in to your account. Tap Wash in the main
interface.
Or, after sequencing, tap Wash in the sequencing completed
interface.
2. In the wash interface, select Maintenance from the Wash type
list.
3. Prepare the tube and cleaning cartridge.

4. Follow the on-screen steps to load the washing flow cell, tube,
and cleaning cartridge. Close all compartment doors.

5. In the wash interface, tap Wash and a confirmation dialog box
appears. Select Yes to start wash.
