Disposing of reagent cartridge and flow

After sequencing or before you power off the device, remove the flow cell
and clean the flow cell stage, to prevent particulate matter from falling into
the device and causing damages.
Perform the following steps:
1. Wear protective equipment.
2. Open the flow cell compartment and remove the flow cell:
1) Hold the flow cell by edges with one hand to prevent the flow
cell from falling into the device, and to avoid damage to flow
cell.
2) Press the flow cell attachment button with the other hand to
release the flow cell. Remove the flow cell.
3. Open the reagent compartment door, pull out the reagent
cartridge by using the pull ring and remove the cartridge. Move up
the base, and remove the tube.
4. Empty the remaining solution in the reagent cartridge and tube
into an appropriate waste container.
5. Dispose of the tube, flow cell, and reagent cartridge in accordance
with local regulations and safety standards of your laboratory.
