4.4.4 Firewall > MAC-IP List
MAC List configuration can be used to control which physical LAN devices can access the ports on the
pX2, by restricting or allowing connections based on the MAC address. IP List configuration can be used to
define who or what can access the pX2, by restricting or allowing connections based on the IP Address/
Subnet.
MAC-IP List can be used alone or in combination with LAN to WAN Access Control to provide secure
access to the physical ports of the pX2.
Firewall MAC List Configuration
Rule Name
The Rule Name field is required to give the rule a convenient name for
reference. Each rule must have a unique name, up to 10 characters in
length.
Values (10 chars)
MAC_List
MAC Address
Specify the MAC Address to be added to the list. Must be entered in the
correct format as seen above. Not case sensitive.
