4 Analyzer Preparation
5. Open valves 10, 6, 1, 2, 3, 11, 12, and 13, by double-clicking on the valve. This will allow the
analysis components to be evacuated at the same time other installation tasks are completed.
6. All four transducer readings should begin to pull down. The transducer readings should all
come down to 0.00 ± 0.30.
l If the analyzer cannot pull down this low, check the vacuum pump connections for leaks,
including oil vapor trap O-rings, and check oil level.
l If the transducer readings are within the tolerances, wait 15 to 20 minutes to allow the man-
ifold time to clean up under vacuum.
7. To zero the transducers, go to Unit 1 > Calibrate >Zero Pressure. Select the four trans-
ducers and click Start. Verify the pressure transducers have been zeroed.
