5-8 Image Optimization
iClear
The function is used to enhance the image profile so as to distinguish the image
boundary for optimization.
Adjust through the [iClear] item on the touch screen.
The system provides 7 levels of iClear adjustment, off represents no iClear effect,
and the bigger the value the stronger the effect.
It may cause noise increasing.
Persistence
This function is used to superimpose and average adjacent B images, so as to
optimize the image and remove noise.
Rotate the knob under the [Persistence] item on the touch screen to adjust the
value.
The system provides 7 levels of frame average adjustment, the bigger the value
the stronger the effect.
Persistence can remove image noise to make details to be clearer.
Persistence increasing may lead to signal missing.
Rotation /Invert (U/D Flip and L/R Flip)
The function provides a better observation for image display.
Rotate the image through the [Rotation] item on the touch screen.
Image can be rotated in the manners of angles of 0°, 90°, 180° and 270°.
When the image is rotated in the angle of 90° or 270°, the depth scale is displayed
on the upper part of the screen.
Invert (U/D
Flip and L/R
Flip)
To invert the image horizontally or vertically.
Touch [U/D Flip] or [L/R Flip] on the touch screen to invert the image
You can identify image orientation through the ―M‖ mark on the screen; by default,
the M mark is located in the upper left corner of the imaging area.
iBeam (Spatial Compound Imaging)
This function is used to superimpose and average images of different steer angles
to obtain image optimization.
Adjust through the [iBeam] item on the touch screen.
The system provides 4 levels of iBeam adjustment in single B mode; Off
represents no iBeam.
Images can be optimized with less spot noise and higher resolution, so that more
details for the structure are revealed.
iBeam is valid for linear and convex probes, and it is not available when ExFOV
function is turned on.
