6.6.7 Input/output Interface Failure
Symptoms Possible Cause Correction Action
No analog out signal or
defib. Sync signal
Parameter board failure Replace the parameter board.
Main board defective Replace the main board.
Parameter connector board failure Replace the parameter connector board.
Connection failure Check that the connection between the main board and the
parameter connector board is not damaged.
Analog out cable or defib sync.

Replace the cable
6.6.8 Storage Failure
Symptoms Possible Cause Correction Action
Failure to store history data or
resting ECG waveform
SD card defective Enter the User Maintenance menu to format the SD card, or
replace the SD card.
Main board defective Replace the main board.
Storage Card Err is reported SD card error Restart T1. If the problem persists, format the SD card.
6.6.9 Power Supply Failures
Symptoms Possible Cause Correction Action
Battery cannot be fully
charged.
Battery is defective Replace the battery.
Main board failure Replace the main board.
Battery cannot be
recharged.
Battery is defective Replace the battery.
Main board is defective Replace the main board.
No +5 VDC/+12 VDC
output
Main board failure 1. Restart T1.
2. If T1 does not turn on, replace the main board.
Power Communication
error is reported
Main board failure Replace the main board.
NOTE
 When the power module fails, it may cause problems to other components, e.g. the monitor shuts off during
start-up. In this case, troubleshoot the power module per the procedure described in the table above.
