SELF-TIMER
3. Press the shutter-release button
partway down to lock the focus.
Focus lock can be used for
off-center subjects (p. 30).
1. Place the camera on a tripod. Press
the drive-mode button until the self-
timer indicator appears on the data
panel.
When the drive mode button is pressed, the
drive mode changes in the following
sequence:
2. Center your subject in the focus
frame.
The self-timer delays the release of the shutter for approximately 10
seconds after the shutter-release button is pressed.
