Do not use any valves in the mixed-oxidant or sodium hypochlorite lines other
than the three-way valve provided by MIOX. These valves have an open center
configuration that prevents the blockage of flows from the cell. Failure to use
MIOX supplied three-way valves may void the warranty.
Drains
The cell and plumbing compartments are the only two areas in the OSG that have the
potential for a water leak. Both compartments are equipped with low point drains that will
drain directly to the floor. The cell compartment drain pipe is plumbed through the power
supply compartment floor. The plumbing compartment drain pipe is plumbed through the
cooling compartment floor. The drains from these compartments should only flow in the
event of a malfunction that will be evident from liquid underneath the enclosure. If this
condition is noticed, immediately shut down the system, diagnose, and correct the leak.
