Plumbing Connections
Plumbing connections to the cell depend on the number of cell modules that make up the cell
assembly. For a single module cell (M1 or H1), the plumbing inlet and outlet fittings are
installed directly to the cell (Figure 26).

For a multiple module cell (M2-M5 or H2-H5) the plumbing inlet and outlet fittings are
installed to the cell inlet/outlet manifolds that are mounted on the cell (Figure 27).
Connecting the inlet plumbing to the cell/manifold inlet is made by mating the inlet plumbing
female union to the cell inlet male union. Connecting the outlet plumbing to the cell/manifold
outlet is made by mating the outlet plumbing female union to the cell outlet male union.
