Rupture Probe Maintenance
In the event of a rupture disk failure, the probe must be cleaned.
1. A yellow cord will be found inline post rupture disk assembly. This is the rupture probe.
1. Unplug the probe from the push-in fitting.
2. Carefully clean the two probe sensor tips with water. Rinse if possible. Do not bend the
sensor tips.
3. Before reinserting the probe make certain that the metal contacts on the tip are dry.
4. Reinsert probe into the push-in connector.
