IP67 IO-Link Modules for EtherNet/IP
In SI mode, you can switch back to IO-Link mode by using the switching (with the CSICx bit=1),
In such case, the IO-Link communication starts in operate mode. It means that:
o The process data are in valid state and accessible for the user.
o All the other IO-Link feature can be performed (Diagnostic, parametrization…)
Warning!
The IO-Link device shall support the SI with IO-Link mode.
If it doesn’t, there may be some unexpected behavior during the switching.
IO-Link events and errors codes
Each IO-Link change of state and error will generate an event.
The last event will be stored into the input assembly with the information below.
If you want to get the previous events (up to 64 past events), you can get them either from the module web
server or by using CIP explicit messages. Refer to the Chapter IO-Link parameter object
o IOL_LE_SC - IO-Link Event Sequence count.
Refer to the configured
input assembly
This parameter is the number of the latest IO-Link events.
When a new event occurs, this counter is incremented by 1.
As coded on 1 byte, the max value is 255. If a new event occurs, It
goes back to 0.
o IOL_LE_EQ - IO-Link Last Event: Evt Qualifier
Refer to the configured
input assembly
0 = Device application (Remote)
1 = Master application (Local)
