Picklist Mode
Parameter # 402
Picklist mode enables the scanner to decode only bar codes aligned under the center of the aiming pattern.
Select one of the following picklist modes:
•
Disabled Always - Picklist mode is always disabled.
•
Enabled Always - Picklist mode is always enabled.
Fuzzy 1D Processing
Parameter # 514
This option is enabled by default to optimize decode performance on 1D bar codes, including damaged and
poor quality symbols. Disable this only if you experience time delays when decoding 2D bar codes, or in
detecting a no decode.
NOTE With Picklist Mode enabled, the decode aiming pattern turns on even when the Decode Aiming Pattern on
page 7-15 is disabled.
