19. Apply 1.5 - 2 oz of 737-0168A grease to the gears
and inside of the housing. See Figure 7.29.
20. Work the gears to distribute the grease between
them.
21. Apply a small bead of Loctite Ultra Grey, or similar
sealant, along the inside of the bolt holes on one of
the housings. See Figure 7.30.
NOTE: A small bead is all that is needed. A thick bead of
sealant is a waste of sealant and can cause
excess sealant to get into the bearings.
22. Slide the second housing in place.
23. Install the five screws. Tighten them to a torque of 90
- 120 in lbs (10 - 14 Nm).
24. Install the plastic plug.
25. Install the Gear Box by following the procedures
described in the Auger Assemblies section of this
chapter.
26. Test run the unit in a safe area before returning it to
service.
