7.23.4 ECU – Plug connections check
Preconditions
☑Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

Checking plug connection to
ECU
1. Use connector pliers (3) to make certain
that all plug-in connections of ECU are se-
curely seated.
2. Tighten loose bayonet couplings (2) with
connector pliers (3) by turning them clock-
wise until they latch into place.
3. Make sure that unassigned sockets are
closed off with cover caps.
4. If bayonet couplings are defective, contact
Service.
