ID check Tx
ID check transmission limits fax transmission to when the lower four digits of the fax
number you dialed and those registered in the destination machine match.
NOTE
•When using manual transmission (page 3-3), the ID check transmission function
is disabled, even if you set it to ON.
•When the lower four digits of the fax number registered in the other machine do not
match the lower four digits of the number you entered, or when a fax number is not
registered in the other machine, a communication error occurs and transmission
fails.
•Even if this setting is ON, you can set the ID check transmission OFF only for the
next transmission when you set the setting off from the advanced settings.

Press <Menu>．

Press [Setting].

Select “Management”, and press [Enter].
If an administrator password is set, enter the password and press [Enter].

Select “Security Communication”, and press [Enter].

Select “ID Check Tx”, and press [Enter].

Select “ON” to perform ID check transmission, and press [Enter].
Select “OFF” to deselect the setting.

Press [Close].
