Basic scanning
Scanning to e-mail address
You can attach the scanned document to an e-mail for transmission.

•To scan to e-mail, you should connect the machine to a network, and setup the “TCP/
IP Settings”, SMTP settings in “E-mail Settings”, and add an e-mail address to the
machine in advance.
For details on the network setting, see chapter 2, “Specifying the network settings”
in the Administrator’s Guide, and chapter 3, “Setting the e-mail environment” in the
OfficeBridge Guide.
•The procedures are explained here using destinations registered in advance. There
are various ways to specify destinations. For details, see “Specifying destinations”
(page 5-2).

Load the document.

Press the mode change key to change to scan mode.

Set the resolution and color, as necessary.
For details, see “Resolution” (page 1-12) and “Color” (page 1-12).

Press [Select Address].

Select “e-mail”, and press [Enter].
