What to do if Murray Lawn Mower engine will turnover but will not start?

If your Murray Lawn Mower engine turns over but doesn't start, the issue could stem from several causes related to the choke and fuel. If the engine is cold, ensure the choke is in the CLOSED position. If the engine is warm, the choke should be in the OPEN position. If the engine is flooded, set the choke to OPEN when cranking. Check the fuel level; if it's empty, let the engine cool before refilling. Old or stale fuel can also prevent starting, so drain it and replace it with fresh fuel. Lastly, inspect the spark plug(s) for faults, fouling, or incorrect gapping, and clean, gap, or replace them as necessary. If the problem persists, the safety interlock switch may be faulty, and you should contact your local authorized dealer for replacement.
