• [*******] in the messages for ink cartridge replacement indicates the color (slot number) that is
running low or has run out, using the following characters.
<When using four colors>
• K: Black (Slot K1)
• k: Black (Slot K2)
• C: Cyan (Slot C1)
• C: Cyan (Slot C2)
• M: Magenta (Slot M1)
• m: Magenta (Slot M2)
• Y: Yellow (Slot Y1)
• y: Yellow (Slot Y2)
<When using seven colors >
• 1: Magenta (Slot 1)
• 2: Light Magenta (Slot 2)
• 3: Cyan (Slot 3)
• 4: Light Cyan (Slot 4)
• 5: Cleaning Liquid (Slot 5)
• 6: Black (Slot 6)
• 7: Yellow (Slot 7)
• 8: Light Black (Slot 8)
• ALL: All ink
• If "Ink End" is displayed, the printing operation stops.
• If "Ink End" is displayed, you cannot print until inserting the new Ink cartridge.
• If there is no Ink cartridge for replacement at hand, leave the empty Ink cartridge inserted in the
printer.
Leaving the printer with Ink cartridge removed may result in clogging of Print head.
