elds may be the same as
that typically found in hos-

Manufacturer’s declaration and recommendations – Electromagnetic immunity
hyperion is suited for use in the electromagnetic environment specied below.
The customer or user of hyperion must assure that it is used in said environment.

Portable RF devices must be used a distance away
from hyperion (or any of its parts including cables)
that is greater than or equal to the recommended
distance, calculated with the applicable equation.
Recommended distance
d = 1.17 √P
d = 1.17 √P 80 – 800 MHz
d = 1.17 √P 800 MHz – 2.5 GHz
P = maximum transmitter power (as specied by the
manufacturer), in watt (W)
d = recommended distance in meters (m)
The electromagnetic eld emitted by xed transmit-
ters measured on site a should be less than the con-
formity level of each frequency interval b.
Equipment marked with the following symbol may
experience interference problems:
Note1 The values of the higher frequency interval are applied at 80 and 800 MHz.
Note2 These guidelines may not be applicable under all conditions. In fact, propagation of electromagnetic waves is
affected by absorption and reection on structures, objects and people.
a
Electromagnetic elds from xed transmitters such as repeaters for mobile phones, radios, etc… cannot be accu-
rately predicted. In order to accurately dene the electromagnetic environment, measurements may need to be taken
on site. If the measures are higher than the conformity levels, hyperion should be closely monitored to verify regular
operation. If performance drops, counter-measures may be required such as redirecting or moving the hyperion.
b
The electromagnetic eld should be less than 3V in the 150 kHz – 80MHz frequency range.
