hyperion - OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Examples:
Recommended distance that should be present between portable RF devices and hyperion
hyperion may be used in an electromagnetic environment in which RF interferences are under control.
The customer or user of hyperion can prevent electromagnetic interferences by keeping portable RF devices (trans-
mitters) the minimum distance away from hyperion, as recommended below, according to the transmitter’s maximum
power.
Maximum power of trans-
mitter
Required distance according to transmitter frequency in meters (m)
150 kHz - 80 MHz
d = 1.17 √P
80 MHz - 800 MHz
d = 1.17 √P
800 MHz - 2.5 GHz
d = 2.34 √P
0.01 0.117 0.117 0.23
0.1 0.37 0.37 0.74
1 1.17 1.17 2.3
10 3.7 3.7 7.4
100 11.7 11.7 23
As concerns transmitters whose maximum power is not listed above, the recommended distance in meters (m) can
be estimated by using the equation given above.
Note1 The values of the higher frequency interval are applied at 80 and 800 MHz.
Note2 These guidelines may not be applicable under all conditions. In fact, propagation of electromagnetic waves is
affected by absorption and reection on structures, objects and people.
