Things to Know – Switches, Routers, and SFPs
NOTE Most of the switches, as shipped from the vendor, require an update to their firmware to work correctly with
the storage array.
Depending on the configuration of your storage array, you might use Fibre Channel switches, iSCSI switches, or
SAS switches.
The SFPs in Table 10 on page 27 apply only if you are using Fibre Channel network protocols.
The switches in the following table are certified for use with an E2600 storage array and an E2660 storage array,
which both use SANtricity ES Storage Manager Version 10.83.
